The School Day at Harbour View
Our gates open at 8:30am and the school day begins at 8:45am. The school day ends at 3:15pm for all pupils. Children in Reception and KS1 are collected from their classroom doors. KS2 pupils are dismissed from the main playground.
Daily Routine
Each morning begins with guided reading (8:45–9:00) followed by English and maths lessons. After a mid-morning break, pupils continue with foundation subjects or targeted interventions. Afternoons are dedicated to the wider curriculum: science, computing, humanities, art, music and PE. Every class has at least two hours of PE per week.
School Uniform
Our uniform is a royal blue jumper or cardigan with the school logo, white shirt or polo shirt, grey trousers or skirt, and black shoes. On PE days, children should wear their PE kit to school: white t-shirt, navy shorts or joggers, and trainers. Uniform is available from the school office and online at our uniform supplier.
