Pupil Premium

How we use funding to support disadvantaged pupils

Pupil Premium at Harbour View

38% of our pupils are eligible for Pupil Premium, significantly above the national average. This funding is central to our school improvement strategy. Closing the disadvantage gap is not just a priority — it is our moral imperative.

Key strategies include: daily targeted reading and maths interventions, funding for breakfast club places (ensuring a settled start to the day), subsidised access to all trips and residential visits, one-to-one tutoring for Year 6 pupils, access to the book vending machine reward scheme, and additional ELSA support for social and emotional wellbeing.

Our Pupil Premium Strategy Statement is reviewed termly by the trust board and published annually. We track the impact of every intervention rigorously.
