About Harbour View
Harbour View Primary Academy was established in 2015 when Walker Primary School converted to academy status and joined the Northern Gateway Academies Trust. Our modern building, completed in 2018, was designed with 21st century learning in mind: flexible classroom spaces, a dedicated STEM lab, a performance hall, and extensive outdoor facilities.
Our specialism in computing and digital skills sets us apart. We believe that technological literacy is as fundamental as reading and writing. Our children learn to code from Reception onwards, and by Year 6, they are building apps, designing websites and programming robots. This isn't about screens — it's about developing the problem-solving, logical thinking and creativity that every child needs to succeed.
